What WE Do

Service Above Self

Rotary International is the world’s oldest service club. Its members form a global network of business and professional leaders who volunteer their time and talents to serve their communities and the world. Rotary’s motto, “Service Above Self,” exemplifies the spirit of the organization. There are more than 1.2 million Rotarians in more than 32,000 clubs located in over 170 countries around the world.

Our Rotary Club of Redmond was founded in 1959.

Our Rotary Club of Redmond members enjoy great speakers, fellowship, and professional networking. Our meeting time is 12 noon on the first, third, and fifth (if there is one) Thursdays of the month at the Family Pancake House, 17621 Redmond Way, Redmond, WA 98052. We meet at Postdoc Brewing on the second and fourth Thursdays at 5:30 p.m.

Also visit our calendar for regularly updated details on our great speakers and programs, and keep up with our activities on our Facebook page.

Stinky Spoke 2026 Fundraiser | January 31

Our annual Stinky Spoke 2026 winter bicycle fundraiser is closing in, less than 4 weeks away. Rider registrations for the 19 mile mountain bike, gravel bike and e-bike ride are significantly ahead of last year's registrations at this stage, and significantly more money is expected to be raised for the 501(c)(3) Redmond Rotary Club Foundation.

Stinky Spoke 2026 is 100% volunteer organized and produced by the Rotary Club of Redmond, with all net proceeds from the event going to the Redmond Rotary Club Foundation to fund charitable and community causes.

We have numerous volunteer opportunities available the day of the event, and in the weeks before the event. If you are interesting in contributing a little time toward some great causes, we could use your help. Contact us and we can help find something for you to do and enjoy.

Up to 400 riders will be riding the 19 mile trail through parts of Redmond and Woodinville, including the infamous Heart Attack Hill, in what usually turns out to be the stinkiest, wet, cold weather of the year in late January. After the ride, there is cold beer, hot food, and a fun afterparty in the large, warm, dry Red Oak Room at the Redmond Senior and Community Center. Sponsors who have given generously to the event will have tables, and there will be prizes and a silent auction to further fund the Foundation.
